Campus Connections is an inclusive post-secondary opportunity that supports students with developmental disabilities to be fully included in programs of interest to achieve their career aspirations.
Students with developmental disabilities come to university for the same reason that other university students do:
- to further their education
- to develop lifelong friendships
- to develop career opportunities through practicums
- to gain independence
- to create life enriching experiences
Students are typically supported to audit courses in a program of study for which they have a strong passion or interest. Alongside fellow classmates students participate in practicums, field placements, assignments, exams and labs.
