All of our programs emphasize experiential learning, not as an add-on to theory and evidence-based knowledge, but as a core element of learning. We encourage our students to acquire information in the way that suits them best. Here you don't just learn what; you learn how.

Labs and field placements

Through labs and field placements, you enhance your learning with hands-on activities. You work with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, guided by caring expert instructors who are committed to your success.

Our department uses two labs in MacEwan's Clinicial Simulation Centre.

Our Massage Therapy Teaching Clinic and Acupuncture Teaching Clinic provide students the opportunity to put theory into practice. The clinics are open to the public throughout the academic year.
