Community Engagement

MacEwan is built upon a strong history of community engagement, where efforts to teach, learn and serve are aligned with the interests and needs of the broader community.

MacEwan’s Strategic Vision

Edmonton’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is robust and there is growing recognition that entrepreneurship is not limited to tech, venture capital, profit-and-growth-orientations and heroic entrepreneurs. There is a resounding desire to foster entrepreneurship that has a positive social impact, and for Edmonton’s entrepreneurial resources to be more accessible and relevant for underrepresented entrepreneurs. The intent of this half-day “roundtable” series is to work as a community to transform Edmonton’s entrepreneurial ecosystem to be more inclusive and impactful.
