BACHELOR of COMMERCE

Economics

OUT-OF-SCHOOL MINOR | Bachelor of Commerce

Economics is about more than money and trade. When you study economics, you are introduced to the economics of production and consumption, of distribution and development, of war and power.

You learn about the economics of welfare, manners, language, industry, music, art and even love. Fundamental economic principles, issues and analytical skills help you evaluate the costs and benefits associated with all aspects of the human experience.

Economics is . . . a way of looking at things, an ordering principle, a complete part of everything. It is a system of thought, a life game, an element of pure knowledge.
Robert A. Mundell, Canadian economist and Nobel Laureate
