BACHELOR of COMMERCE
French
In a culturally and economically interconnected world, the ability to communicate in a second world language is increasingly important. Studying French at university goes beyond language, however, by also focusing on the distinctive philosophical, literary, and artistic French traditions.
If you have a passion for literature, the movies, art and culture, then a minor in French may the perfect complement to your major.
Placement in language courses
Before you enrol in a language course, consult placement guidelines. You must register in a level that is appropriate to your ability.
If you register in the wrong course, you will be required to withdraw from it in the first week of the term and you may not have another chance to register in the correct course. Taking the wrong course may also jeopardize your future transfer of credits.
