What to expect

In this program, you explore the core principles of behaviour and behaviour analysis. This foundational knowledge helps you build skills for working in fields such as autism and other developmental disorders, pediatric behaviour management, child abuse intervention and prevention, education, aging and gerontology, brain injury rehabilitation, addiction treatment, sports psychology and organizational behaviour.

During your field placement, you gain hands-on experience by applying what you’ve learned in the classroom to real-world behavior-analytics activities. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®), you have opportunities to observe and implement direct and indirect behaviour analysis techniques, demonstrate your ability to meet vocational standards and strengthen your practical skills in the field.
