Promoting meaningful action, implementing appropriate function-based strategies for challenging behaviours, and providing clients with opportunities to learn and apply effective skills. When you earn a post-baccalaureate certificate in applied behaviour analysis, you develop the knowledge you need to work as a collaborative team member or as an assistant to a behaviour analyst.
The program focuses on creating evidence-based, individualized support plans that are consistently monitored for effectiveness. These skills can be applied in a variety of work settings including group homes, clinics, non-profit organizations, schools and corporations. Or you can pursue a career as an independent consultant after gaining additional qualified certification standards.
