COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE

The Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act requires that all public sector bodies, including public post-secondary institutions, disclose the compensation and non-monetary benefits of all employees whose total compensation and severance is greater than the established threshold in a given year.

The university must also disclose any compensation provided to members of the Board of Governors that is related to their responsibilities as members of the Board of Governors.

There are two required disclosures per year: one on or before June 30 reporting compensation paid in the previous calendar year, and another on or before December 31 for severances paid or committed to between January 1 and June 30 of the current calendar year. Visit the Alberta Government Public sector body compensation disclosure web page to learn more about the Act.
