Board of Governors Research Chairs
In 2018, to support the university’s strategic research plan, the Board of Governors established the Research Chair program, appointing faculty members to build MacEwan’s research culture and assist fellow faculty members in producing internationally recognized scholarly and creative work.
Each year, two faculty members are recognized for their exceptional commitment to research with a two-year term as Board of Governors Research Chairs. Research chairs are leaders in their fields of expertise and are granted a reduced teaching load to allow them to spend more time on research interests.
MacEwan tenured or tenure-track faculty members are invited to apply for the Board of Governors Research Chair positing.
