The MacEwan Research Assistant Support Fund provides funding for 100 hours of research assistance. To be eligible for this grant, the research assistants must be students currently enrolled at MacEwan University.

MacEwan Research Assistant Support Fund Amount: $2000

Funding is to hire a new research assistant who has not worked with you in this fiscal year (i.e., since April 1, 2024).

Eligibility

An individual is eligible to apply for internal research funding if they hold a full-time faculty appointment that contains research within their position duties. Sessional faculty are only eligible as collaborators on internal research grants as part of a research team.

Apply for the MacEwan Research Assistant Support Fund by following these steps:

  1. Log in to PeopleSoft.
  2. Choose the Research tile.
  3. Navigate to the My Grant Application page and select MacEwan Research Assistant Support Fund from the list of awards. Choose Start a New Application to begin a new application. Applications that have already been started can also be accessed from this screen.

Note: MacEwan Research Assistant Support Fund will only show up in the list when applications are open.
