Our group brings together researchers from across disciplines to study the cognitive and neural mechanisms that shape how individuals think, perceive, remember and act. Through collaborative, interdisciplinary research, our work advances understanding of the brain and its connection to physical and mental health.
Our focus
Our research spans multiple levels of analysis—from neural circuits to complex behaviour—drawing on expertise in cognitive neuroscience, neuropsychology, cognitive psychology, behavioural neuroscience, biochemistry, computer vision, artificial intelligence and virtual reality. Topics of focus include the following:
- attention and perception
- memory and learning
- decision making and reward processing
- neurological and mental health disorders
We also provide mentorship and hands-on research training to emerging scholars through Honours theses, independent studies, capstone projects and research assistantships.
