AI Alternative Assessment Coach – Pilot

If you are exploring alternative forms of assessment in your course design, we invite you to participate in a pilot of a generative AI tool.

The tool, called the AI Alternative Assessment Coach, supports the creation of inclusive, values-informed alternatives to traditional assessments. It guides faculty through reflective prompts to help align assessment strategies with pedagogical goals and student learning needs.

This opportunity is ideal for instructors who have an assignment or assessment they wish to redesign using alternative approaches.

Participants will:

• Explore the tool independently
• Take part in a follow-up debrief with one of our educational specialists
• Help shape the future of AI-supported faculty development at MacEwan University

CTL will provide onboarding guidance and coordinate a debrief session to discuss your experience and gather feedback.
