Honours student research
Mykaela Holt had a question. “Would children feel more empathetic towards an adult after a period of interpersonal sychronicity?” Together with her Honours supervisor Dr. Tara Vongpaisal, she explored that question and presented her findings at a conference.

In Dr. Trevor Hamilton's psychology lab, two students had the opportunity to co-author an academic article on their research with zebrafish. Their findings will influence the way zebrafish research is reported at MacEwan—and in other similar labs around the world.
Rachel Dean (BA, Hons ’19) is first author on a recently published study that found when zebrafish could see other members of their species, the anxiety-reducing effects of ethanol decreased. Full Story
