When I first met Gerry, I remember being so nervous! She had a great reputation and years of experience, but I quickly realized that she was one of the warmest teachers I’ve had. A very determined teacher with loads of patience, she’ll work with you until you’ve got it perfect. Even if that means hearing the same 3 notes 100 times, she’ll do it with a smile. In the 5 years I was her student, I achieved my goals of completing a high level exam, my repertoire expanded greatly, and my technique improved as well. I have nothing but great things to say about her sweet but firm teaching style, and before you know it, you’ll catch yourself being just as kind to yourself as she is to you.
