You do not need to apply for the Chancellor’s Scholarship Series. If you meet the criteria and you are beginning studies in the Fall term, you are automatically considered. If you are successful, you receive notice with your offer of admission.

Scholarships are available for both Canadian/domestic and international students.

These scholarships are offered based on the next highest averages up to a combined total of 30 across all three tiers for students in this faculty.
  • In the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications, students may also be selected based on their outstanding audition and/or portfolio. The additional criteria listed above still apply.
  • If you are successful, you are notified in the offer of admission email sent to your myMacEwan student Gmail account.
  • You will receive a second notification by email with your anticipated scholarship amount once your final admission average has been assessed. If your admission average changes, your scholarship will be adjusted accordingly.
  • The scholarship is disbursed in two equal amounts across two terms (Fall and Winter).
  • To maintain a scholarship offer, you must be enrolled in at least 12 credits in the Fall term and 12 credits in the Winter term by the add/drop deadline in September.
  • To receive the second installment of funds in the Winter term, you must complete at least 12 credits in the Fall term with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and remain enrolled in 12 credits for the Winter term.
