GRADUATION & CONVOCATION

PARCHMENT

Your parchment is an official, legal document issued by MacEwan University to certify that you have completed all institutional and program graduation requirements to earn your credential.

Delivery

When you attend Convocation, you receive your parchment on-stage as part of the ceremony. If you are unable to attend Convocation, your parchment will be sent to your current address in myStudentSystem—at the end of June for Spring Convocation or the end of November for Fall Convocation.

Replacement

If your original parchment has been lost, destroyed or damaged, complete a Parchment Replacement Form to receive another copy. You can also request a replacement parchment if you have a Grant MacEwan Community College parchment that you would like updated to say Grant MacEwan University. Additional documents will be required if you are requesting a new parchment to reflect a name change.
