Meet fellow first-year students. Build a community of peers to support your university experience. Participate in social gatherings and weekly activities. When you join a community nest, you create a network that lasts throughout your time at MacEwan University.

Join the Community Nest program and a senior student, known as a nest leader, will connect you with other students and share their insights about being a student at MacEwan University. Your nest leader coordinates activities, such as monthly social gatherings and weekly get togethers, to ease your transition to university.

You can join a group at any time during your first year. Only first-year students will see the option to join in the registration platform..

Become an integral part of supporting first-year students as they make the transition to university life by becoming a nest leader. This is a paid position. Applications open in February each year.
