Become an integral part of supporting first-year students as they make the transition to university life by joining the Community Nests Program as a paid Nest Leader.
As a Nest Leader, you’ll carry out a diverse range of social engagements for a cohort of first-year students. From organizing monthly social gatherings to actively participating in campus events, your role is instrumental in fostering a sense of community and belonging for your cohort. Join us in our work to support first-year students as they join our campus community while also earning an income and gaining employment experience!
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a full-time program at MacEwan University taking a minimum of nine credits.
- Have completed a minimum of 27 credits in your program of study.
- Be in good academic standing.
- Available to take part in two, mandatory training days.
Leadership experience or participation in a MacEwan-sanctioned leadership and volunteer program is considered an asset.
