Find the access and disability resources and forms you need to support your education at MacEwan as well as helpful information from organizations across Canada.
Forms
You and your medical professional may need to complete the Documentation of Disability Form if you are seeking accommodations or disability grant funding. This form provides official documentation of your disability or medical condition.
If you and your instructor agree that you can record lectures without involving ADR, you may want to use this form to guide your agreement.
On-campus services
Community organizations
The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) supports full access to education and employment for post-secondary students and graduates with disabilities. The organization has three core strategic areas:
- debt reduction
- student experience
- employment
SNOW is a branch of the Inclusive Design Research Centre at the Ontario College of Art and Design. It focuses on inclusive education and learning. Visit the website to find resources for educators, parents, guardians and students.
