CENTRE for SEXUAL and GENDER DIVERSITY

Pride Week 2021

Check out how we celebrated Pride Week in 2021.

We went virtual this year, with a mix of live events and prerecorded experiences.

Celebrations were deeply collaborative and, for the first time, multi-institutional, as we welcomed our neighboring post-secondary communities from NAIT, NorQuest and Concordia University of Edmonton to join in a week of fun, unique and educational events.

In addition to activities, there were rainbows downtown, thanks to ATB and the City of Edmonton, and MacEwan’s Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity was tagged in photos on social with #MacEwanPride. The High Level Bridge shone with pride on March 3.

Missed the 2021 events? No problem!
