CENTRE for SEXUAL and GENDER DIVERSITY
Our Spaces
The Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity is your on-campus destination for inclusive community, connection and learning. Located in Roundhouse in Allard Hall, we provide a warm and inclusive space for 2SLGBTQIA+ students, staff, faculty and their allies.
You do not have to register to access the Centre. Simply head into the Common Room—or ask for directions at the Roundhouse front desk, and you will be directed down the rainbow hallway.
A place to connect
In our Common Room, students, staff and faculty gather and learn together at events and workshops. On the other side of the rainbow hallway, you can chat with a staff member or check out our library.
Fun Facts
Our rainbow hallway has the first permanent mural on campus.
All of the safer sex supplies for campus come through the CSGD.
The Common Room was originally going to be an Escape Room.
It takes a village to build a mural
In October 2022, a new chapter began for the Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity (CSGD) with the opening of its new physical space in Roundhouse. A mural created by Lance Cardinal, who attended MacEwan’s Theatre Arts program in 1996, welcomes visitors to the new centre.
