What do you do that contributes most significantly to your overall wellness?
An overall fitness program that incorporates yoga, swimming, weights, stretching, meditation and positive affirmation.
How or why did you start with it?
I wanted to grow old in a healthy fashion that would keep me mentally and emotionally alert, physically fit and positive. I was attracted to the facility owing to Dr. Randy Gregg.
How has MacEwan University Sport and Wellness helped you along the way?
The gym, swimming pool, staff support and overall wellness ambiance contribute to supporting my healthy lifestyle.
What’s been your greatest challenge with it along the way?
Transforming my fitness into a lifestyle where I don’t have to second guess my fitness schedule because it becomes an automatic part of my day.
What‘s your favourite memory of this journey?
My positive feeling and attitude towards life and living.
What are the two most significant gains you’ve made from doing this?
A positive world view and being able to swim 40 laps non-stop three times per week.
What wisdom would you like to share with someone thinking about doing it?
There is only one of you so owe it to yourself to be the healthiest you can ever be while alive!
