The MacEwan University community joins with all Canadians and people around the world in mourning the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. 

Throughout the many decades of her reign, the Queen was a constant presence – a symbol of grace and dignity whose dedication to public service was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to all. 

Flags on our campus have been lowered in recognition of Her Majesty’s passing. 

On behalf of MacEwan University, I extend condolences to the Royal Family and to the peoples of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth nations.
