Before we dig into 2024, we’re taking a quick look back at some of our December photo highlights.
Students in Jocelyn Brown’s CRWR 317 creative writing course interviewed a group of Edmonton Police Service veterans, and turned those conversations into a collection of stories to portray the diverse experiences of community policing. Students Emily Woods and Pamela Carter each interviewed Marc Downey-Damato for their project.

Massage Therapy diploma students offered a clinic for 70 of the city’s police, fire, EMS and military first responders on December 7. The program has been organizing a free clinic for first responders since 2015.
Two English classes for Ukrainian newcomers wrapped up in early December. A collaboration between the Ukrainian Resource and Development Centre and the School of Continuing Education, the classes continued a successful project that began in May 2022.
