MacEwan’s School of Business community has been busy over the last 12 months. We’ve compiled a few of the landmark moments that faculty, staff, students and alumni have participated in to make the year a memorable one.
MacEwan Ventures, supported by the RBC Foundation, helps budding entrepreneurs learn how to manage their business, build prototypes and pitch their ideas. Five times last year, the workshop series culminated in participating students showcasing their business to earn cash prizes used towards developing their business ideas. We also invite budding entrepreneurs in the community to participate in our workshops at no charge – this year, we also held a workshop series for Black Canadian Women in Action members. Laura Beaudin, second from right, earned the top prize in this year’s spring/summer cohort.
At our Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 ceremonies, nearly 900 graduates from the School of Business left MacEwan’s halls and began their professional careers. Read some of their stories.
The School of Business building has officially been under construction for over a year. We looked back at some of the milestone moments and look forward to seeing the doors open in 2027!
