At MacEwan University, the Sexual Violence Response Coordinator provides a first point of contact if you have experienced or witnessed sexual violence. The coordinator is familiar with support options on campus and in the community. Counselling and emotional support, safety planning, on-campus security, reporting options and academic modifications—the coordinator can help you take next steps.

24/7 emergency response
For immediate emergency response contact Security Services at 497-5555. Uniformed security officers make regular patrols inside and outside University buildings and will respond to your call immediately.
Resource and Information Hub

OSVPER’s online resource and information hub is a Google site that includes resources you can download, blogs and other content created by our MAVEN peer educators.

Sexual violence support guides

MacEwan staff and faculty who have taken sexual violence prevention and support training are available to assist survivors of sexual violence. Our support guides are knowledgeable about MacEwan's sexual violence policy and procedures, connected to campus and community resources and committed to creating a culture of consent on our campus.
