Hosted by cybersecurity experts from government, industry and academia, the speaker series offers real-world insights on emerging threats, security strategies and career opportunities. Past talks have explored topics such as Alberta’s cybersecurity strategy, operational technology security and the changing landscape of cyber threats across Canada.
The Cybersecurity Awareness Speaker Series is open to students, faculty and the public. The series is organized by the Cybersecurity Group in the Department of Computer Science and typically holds events during the Fall or Winter terms.
