Immigration control and the refugee crisis, women and the democratic process, revolution and change—the Humanities Speaker Series introduces you to a range of fascinating and topical subjects.
Since 2006, this speaker series has provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn about the multiple perspectives and approaches involved in the study of the humanities.
Organized by the department’s Scholarly Events Committee, the series models ways of engaging in the humanities outside of the classroom and shows the continued relevance of the humanities for understanding big questions in life such as love, death, spirituality and power dynamics.
Details for upcoming sessions in this series are posted in the campus events calendar as they become available. You can also find plenty of other exciting things to do. Discover workshops, celebrations, social gatherings and more.
