Join kihêw waciston, MacEwan University’s Indigenous Centre, for a month of activities and events leading up to National Indigenous Peoples Day in June. Engage in learning opportunities as we celebrate through music, art, land-based activities and teachings.

kihêw waciston’s goal is to create spaces for ceremony, language and culture, while understanding the impact that spiritual connection has on Indigenous identity and educational success. In connection to honouring Indigenous peoples, we acknowledge our respect for all living things, and that we are all interconnected with the trees, cosmos, water, animals and this land.
