MacEwan’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (I.D.E.A.) Leaders are MacEwan students, faculty, staff and alumni who advance and promote equity, inclusion and human rights on campus and in the community.

During Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Week, we acknowledge the efforts of these outstanding MacEwan citizens.

  • Faculty and/or Research I.D.E.A. Leader
  • Staff I.D.E.A. Leader
  • Student I.D.E.A. Leader

Nomination committee and criteria

Nominations are reviewed by a diverse committee that is reflective of faculty, staff and students at MacEwan. Nominations will be assessed using the following criteria:

  1. The impact that the nominee is making in the area of inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility. The impact can be on a body of knowledge, on an individual and/or group, a process, etc.
  2. How the nominee’s work contributes to building a culture of inclusion at MacEwan or in the community (for alumni nominations).
