The Sociology department awards a cash prize to the student who wins the department’s competition for the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award.
This award has been created in order to recognize students who show outstanding research potential in an area of sociology. The department encourages all eligible students to consider submitting a research report for this competition. The prize is $250 and the winning student’s name is added to a plaque in the Sociology department.
Details and criteria for this award are updated each year and will typically be made available in the department during the Winter term.
Applications for 2025 are closed.
