Wellness Animals Giving Support (WAGS)
Reset your day with WAGS
University life moves quickly. MacEwan Wellness Animals Giving Support (WAGS) offers a simple way to unwind. The program provides safe, supportive interactions with dogs on campus to enhance well-being and connection.
Sessions happen across campus. Stop by, interact with a dog at your comfort level, then continue with your day.

Our campus partners
Campus partners host regular drop-in sessions and special events across campus. Stop by between classes or build a visit into your day—no registration needed. Look for the WAGS bandana to know you’re in the right place. Times and locations are regularly updated.

Book a WAGS visit
Planning an event or looking to support student well-being in your area?
WAGS can be booked for drop-in sessions and for campus events or initiatives. We will work with you to create a relaxed, supportive environment tailored to your space while ensuring the comfort and safety of program participants.
Volunteer with WAGS and your dog
WAGS sessions are made possible by faculty and staff volunteers and their dogs.
If your dog is well-suited to a campus environment and enjoys meeting people, volunteering with WAGS is a meaningful way to contribute to student well-being.
