SCHOLARSHIPS & BURSARIES

The Conservatory of Music is grateful to various donors supporting our Scholarship and Bursary Program.

Funding opportunities are available through bursaries or scholarships based on performance or financial need for the Conservatory of Music students.

Through their generous donations our partners have allowed us to provide scholarships and bursaries available to music students. Thank you for your support!

Bursaries

Bursaries to support students with financial need are offered on an ongoing basis, with applications reviewed each year. To apply for a bursary, follow the application process provided in each year’s Bursary Application Notice.

Eligibility Requirement Highlights:

  • Student paid the membership fee for the current school year and completed 10 hours of private lessons; OR
  • Enrolled in a music class

Annual Scholarship Competition

This is an opportunity for Conservatory of Music students (intermediate to advanced levels) to audition for a scholarship. Applications are accepted based on a Conservatory instructor’s recommendation. Discuss your interest with your teacher.

Eligibility Requirement Highlights:

  • Student paid the membership fee prior to March 1st of the current school year; AND
  • Student currently taking private lessons with a Conservatory instructor on their performance instrument and have paid 10 or more hours of instruction.
