BACHELOR of EARLY CHILDHOOD CURRICULUM STUDIES

DEGREE

In this degree, you explore the pedagogy of early childhood and learn how to support children during their most critical period of development—between birth and five years of age.

You build a deep understanding of Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework and experience curriculum in action as you work closely with children and educators at ELM, the university’s on-site early learning and child care centre.

Certification

The first two years of the degree meet the certification requirements for Child Development Supervisor (Level 3) Certification through Alberta Children’s Services.
