Applicant update: Alberta teachers’ strike

The November 2025 diploma exams are now optional due to the ongoing strike. Choosing not to write will not affect post-secondary applications.

MacEwan Admissions is monitoring the situation closely. If admission requirements change, we’ll contact affected applicants directly.

For now, keep moving forward with your studies and applications. We’re here to support you and will ensure you have the necessary information.

Academic advisors are here to help you succeed. They work with you to understand your goals, answer your questions and connect you with the right information and resources so that you can make confident decisions about your future. Meet with us online or in person whenever you need support.
