STATEMENT OF INTENT for Theatre Production major
Applicants to the theatre production major must submit a statement of intent answering the following questions.

Answer the questions as fully as possible. Your submission should be between 500 and 1000 words. Spelling, grammar, and punctuation are factored into our evaluation.
Attach your answers, as a pdf document, to an email and send to theatreproduction@macewan.ca. Please ensure your name appears on all pages.
- Why are you interested in the theatre production major?
- What are your career aspirations? How will the completion of this program support those aspirations?
- Describe a performance you have attended. Explain how it made you curious about some aspect of theatre production and/or inspired you to pursue a career in theatre.
Next steps
Once your transcripts have been evaluated by the Office of the University Registrar and it has been established that you meet the academic qualifications for admission, we will review your file and make an admission decision.
Avoid delays by submitting any outstanding admission documents as quickly as possible and monitoring your To Do List in myStudentSystem for changes and new requests. After an admission decision is made, you will receive a notice from the Office of the University Registrar.
