PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE

At MacEwan University, your learning has a practical focus, incorporating virtual work environments into course materials. Field visits give you first-hand experience, allowing you to apply your new knowledge and skills in preparation for a new career.

Practical exams, for example testing of audiometry, spirometry, vision screening and venipuncture skills, take place close to your home and are completed with instructor consultation. You are responsible for helping your instructor identify potential sites for courses that require field visits.
