DIPLOMA

For over 40 years, MacEwan University has graduated compassionate, professional social workers. Our program concentrates on building social work generalist knowledge and skills for practice with individuals, children and families and communities.

The social work diploma program attracts a diverse range of students from many different cultures and backgrounds. You benefit from that diversity as well as from our student-centred approach to teaching.

In this program, a strong academic approach is supported with practical field placements. Students complete a two-year full-time course of study with two days a week spent in a social service agency.
