TRACK YOUR APPLICATION
You need to track the status of your application throughout the admission process to ensure you meet requirements and submit transcripts/educational documents by the appropriate deadlines.
Track your application online through the university’s student information system, myStudentSystem, and check your myMacEwan Gmail account regularly for updates and requests related to your application. You can access both myStudentSystem and your myMacEwan Gmail account through myPortal.MacEwan.ca.
Your Network ID and a temporary password are sent to the email account listed on your application. You will be prompted to change your password the first time you log in. You need your Network ID and password to access myStudentSystem and myPortal.MacEwan.ca.
If you lose your Network ID, visit Technology Support in person and bring picture ID. If you need to reset your password or you are locked out of your account, access the "Account Help" page in myPortal.MacEwan.ca.
- Log in to myPortal.MacEwan.ca using your Network ID and password.
- Launch myStudentSystem from the Quick Links menu.
- From your student homepage, select Admissions & Transfer Credit.
- Select your application to see the status.
You can check if you have outstanding conditions on your application or need to submit documents to the Office of the University Registrar through myStudentSystem.
- Log in to myPortal.MacEwan.ca using your network ID and password.
- Launch myStudentSystem from the Quick Links menu.
- From your student homepage, Select Admissions & Transfer Credit.
- Select your application.
- Check the To Do List tab for a list of outstanding conditions.
As you clear each condition, the item will be removed from your list. When you have cleared all conditions, an email confirmation will be sent to your myMacEwan Gmail account.
