ORIENTATION

Fall Orientation

At the fall New Student Orientation, you learn the ins and outs of being a MacEwan University student—from getting around campus to finding out about student clubs and activities.

Planned activities wrap up early in the afternoon, leaving you the rest of the day to find your classrooms, pick up your ID card and U-Pass, buy your books, ask questions about financial aid and do a bit more exploring.

At this full-day orientation, you are treated to a festival of activities: a welcome address, services for students info fair, workshops, social media contests and prize draws. You’ll meet your peers and shorten your to-do list.

Some programs host separate orientations geared specifically toward their students. These take place in the afternoon following the campus-wide orientation. If you are required to attend a program-specific orientation you will receive an email invitation.
