kihêw waciston advising is designed to support First Nations, Métis and Inuit students. However, anyone is welcome to stop by or reach out with questions. If your needs are best met by another advising team, our advisors connect you with the right person or service. No one leaves without direction or support.
Advising services at kihêw waciston are free for all current and prospective Indigenous students.
Bring your student ID (if you have one), documents related to your courses or funding, and questions you want to ask. If you’re not sure where to start, your advisor can help guide the conversation.
We can help you understand eligibility, complete funding applications and prepare supporting documents like tuition estimates and course lists. We can also connect you with MacEwan’s financial aid and scholarships team for additional support.
