In March each year, the MacEwan Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity hosts Pride Week, celebrating the diversity of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and allies. This awareness-raising and celebratory week aims to create and support a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in the university community, and build bridges to the broader Edmonton community.

MacEwan’s Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity leads the YEG Campus Pride Network, a collaboration among the six major post-secondary institutions in Edmonton: Concordia University of Edmonton, The King’s University, NAIT, NorQuest College, MacEwan University, and the University of Alberta.
