Alumni are MacEwan University’s greatest legacy, and we are committed to supporting your continued growth, celebrating your achievements and strengthening your connection to the University. One way to accomplish this is by becoming a member of the Alumni Advisory Council (AAC).
Members of the council provide advice on and contribute to efforts that build a sense of community among alumni, specifically encouraging volunteer activities, experiential engagement and philanthropic support.

Alumni are encouraged to lend their support to students during exams by offering encouraging messages through the Kind Mail campaign. In the first two weeks of April, handwritten messages are delivered to students living in Residence.
The Kind Mail project is a joint initiative between MacEwan Alumni and Residence./p>

Many of our alumni “pay it forward” by donating to scholarships, awards and bursaries. Knowing the financial impact of a university education first hand, they are happy to give deserving recipients a hand up. Join us in enriching the educational experiences of the next generation of MacEwan students.
MacEwan University Alumni Endowment
One of the best ways to give back to your alma mater is to pave the way forward for a current student. Don’t just post your entry level or summer jobs on your own company website or on indeed.com. Post on MacEwanLife, the student job board. Interested in hiring and want to know about the various sources of wage subsidy? Contact the Careers and Experience office at MacEwan and ask about funding opportunities.
Mentors, guest speakers, committee representatives—share your experience and expertise with MacEwan students or with our neighbouring non-profit organizations. Alumni play an important role in making our community stronger. Contact us to let us know how you'd like to volunteer on campus.
