Program planning

To plan your degree you will need to refer to the academic calendar for the year you are admitted to the program.

Taking courses as scheduled within the program of study promotes content integration and optimal learning outcomes. Therefore, most courses must be taken in sequence and are prerequisites for progression through the terms.

Some of the core courses, elective and options may be taken in advance or in spring or summer terms. However, the number of courses taken outside the program schedule may affect full time status, which is required for academic recognition, most scholarships and awards, and student loans.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

You must ensure you meet the course prerequisite and co-requisite requirements before enrolling in courses. Requisites are listed with each course description in the Academic Calendar. You must achieve a minimum grade of C- in order to use a course for credit in the degree.
